Autumn in Acadia Photo Workshop, October 14-19, 2025

It’s that time of the year again! Registration is now open for my Images of Acadia landscape photography workshop. An annual tradition since 2018, we’ll spend five days together, rising early each day to (hopefully!) catch a spectacular sunrise, then spend the rest of the daylight hours seeking the best light and best colors we can find. Acadia is known as one of the most colorful and beautiful locations in the country for Fall foliage, and in eighteen years of photographing in Acadia, I’ve never known it to disappoint.

Who is this workshop for? Well, I’ve had relative beginners as well as professional photographers join me in the past. But I would suggest that you should be familiar with your camera and have some experience taking pictures. Most participants are keen amateurs who love landscape photography and being outdoors, but do it as a hobby and not a career. You don’t need a super-expensive camera, but you will need a D-SLR or mirrorless camera (but bring your phones for capturing snapshots).

Apart from being your guide throughout the week, I’ll be there to pass on tips for better compositions, help you with your camera settings and lens choices and to answer any questions you might have about landscape photography.
