Trees, Series 1

Trees are everywhere. We fall in love with trees that are special to us, and we love to see them change colors in the autumn. As children, we play on them and climb over their branches, and we mourn when a special tree dies or has to be cut down. I don't know why we love trees so much. Maybe it's because they're larger than life– they outgrow us and out-live us, each one is unique and like magic, they seem to grow from nothing. Or maybe it's how they unfurl from a single trunk into multiple large branches, into thousands of smaller branches, bearing hundreds of thousands of leaves.

Or maybe it's just simply that they're beautiful.
